Cedar Creek Falls Walking Track

Cedar Creek Falls is one of Mount Tamborine's most popular tourist attractions with stunning views over the open canyon, waterfall and rock pools. Located within the Cedar Creek section of Tamborine National Park, just a 15min walk from Thunderbird Park, visitors can enjoy one of the most stunning waterfalls in the region. Especially in the warmer months when the temperatures are several degrees cooler on the mountain.

Explore Nature!
Sitting at the base of Tamborine Mountain, just a 20min walk from Thunderbird Park, visitors can enjoy one of the most stunning waterfalls in the region. Cedar Creek Falls are a secret – well, they’re supposed to be. Many people live on the Gold Coast their whole lives without any knowledge of this little diamond of a location. When the falls are heavy and gushing into the rock pools, the water swirls fast and furious like a cold bubbling spa. These natural rock pools make for a brilliant swimming location in warmer months.

Thunderbird Park is centrally located amongst a mind-boggling number of National Parks and is a favourite Gold Coast Hinterland attraction as it is absolutely teeming with the ultimate wonders of the very real natural Australia.

It's a trip of discovery surrounded by some of the world's most splendid and tranquil national parks and state forests. Giant fig trees, towering eucalypts, tropical tree ferns and palms attract colonies of koalas and other Australian animals.
