" My family and I recently stayed at Cedar Creek for a few days, I have to say, it was a great place to go for a family of adults and children. We had a go at both the Adventure park ropes course as well as the Laser skirmish, we thoroughly enjoyed both, well worth the prices!! The food was great at both the restaurant and the kiosk, the wood fired pizzas were fantastic!! The room we stayed in was very comfortable and very clean which is one of the main reasons we will return and certainly recommend to friends as a place to stay.
I think the best thing we found was the friendliness of the staff, no matter where we seemed to go on the property we were made to feel very welcome and the staff seemed happy to take the time to talk to us. "
" I travelled to Cedar Creek Lodges at Tamborine Mountain (part of Thunderbird Park) last week for a 3-night stay with my children as part of a big group made up of many families from our school. We had booked into a range of accommodation including campsite and lodges/cabins and some people took their camper/trailers. My family (children 11, 8, 6, 3) stayed in the gorgeous creekside lodges.
From the minute we arrived, we were welcomed by the very friendly staff. Our private lodge was simply divine, situated right on beautiful Cedar Creek with a superb outlook from the windows and deck. We had a cosy fireplace, very comfortable beds, a small kitchen and a big spa bath in the bathroom. There was plenty of room in the cabin for all of us to relax and enjoy the serenity.
We took part in many of the fantastic activities on offer including horse riding, fossicking for thundereggs, adventure Parc green challenge (an amazing challenge), mini golf and much more. The kids also spent lots of time exploring the creek and spotting the amazing range of birdlife that lives throughout the property. We ate at both the kiosk and the lodge restaurant and all the meals were of very high quality and reasonably priced.
We all enjoyed the break from the city and embraced the friendly, laid back atmosphere Cedar Creek Lodges provides for families needing to relax and enjoy a very natural environment. We were all sad to leave after 3 nights, we are going to return again very soon! "
" My wife and I stayed here and had a great time. We stayed in a luxury spa room on the hill for 2 nights over a weekend - good price and it included a buffet breakfast which was really good. We did the ropes course and played laser skirmish, both were excellent. The first night we went up to Clancy’s Irish Pub for dinner which was lovely and the second night we stayed in-house and dined at the new restaurant at cedar creek. The food was good, the service was good and the after dinner schnapps from the local distillery was just the right way to end a good night.
We hope to make it up there again soon, it was just the perfect weekend away - just what my wife and I needed. "
"Recently stayed here with some family who camped at thunderbird park. We didnt want to camp so we booked a hotel room. The room was fantastic, very clean and had everything we needed. The bathroom was modern and had a giant spa bath which we LOVED. We ate a couple times in the restaurant. The staff were all very friendly and the food was high quality, but well priced. Cant wait to come back again, possibly in the July school holidays.!"
" We ended up extending our stay because we were having so much fun! Gorgeous cabins in an idyllic location combined with multiple adventure activities for children and parents made it very hard to leave!! We played mini-golf, enjoyed Treetop Challenges, making campfires and roasting marshmallows, hiking and sliding at Cedar Creek Falls, and battling it out at Laser Skirmish. We will definitely be back! ’’
"Thunderbird park has been one of my favourite places over 25yrs it just gets better & better. From camping to glamping to the lodges there is something here for all to enjoy. The children have lots of activities from pony rides, horse rides through the tracks, mini golf, thunder egg hunting, laser skirmish, treetop activity adventure for all adventure seekers young or old, bird feeding, rockpools for a swim. Not to mention the fine dinning at the Rainforest restaurant & a great kiosk as well. Also a beautiful place to have a wedding here so spectacular for those special photos, photographer's dream setting. WOW FACTOR."
"Awesome experience @ Cedar Creek Lodge Mt Tambourine for our 23rd Wedding anniversary. I booked a room with spa by accident and the friendly staff rebooked us into a cabin by the creek on the same day. Beautiful location and fantastic staff. And they take Qoin as an added bonus!"
"Wedding - We had Teddy as our coordinator which is included in the package. We had the midweek special which meant the celebrant and DJ were included in our package. There are 3 meetings to attend prior to the event so this made ease of organising everything. Table and chair decorations are also included if you wish. The team helped set up everything, the ceremony and tables, we didn't have to worry about anything. Teddy also checked in on us on our special day so that was lovely. You can include your dog at the ceremony if you wish. It was a lovely day and having the ceremony and reception in the same place makes life easier. Also they have undercover options if it rains. All the staff were lovely, everyone loved the food. I honestly could not fault cedar creek. Thank you for making our day special :)"
" My boyfriend proposed on our first night at Cedar Creek and our parents called the staff the next morning for a favour. We were upgraded from the lodges to their creek cabin-their best available- and mum hadn't even asked her favour yet she had them place champagne and chocolate-dipped strawberries in the room so they were there when we arrived. Every time the staff saw us they asked how we were and used our first names.
The food was delicious and they have a very cool bar and a snuggle lounge too!
Could not fault the service or accommodation at all - it was brilliant we will definitely be going again (maybe for our honeymoon!) "
" We held our conference at Cedar Creek Lodges and had a wonderful couple of days. Their facilities were great and the food was excellent. We very much appreciated all of the teams' efforts to ensure that we had a great conference and stay. Gorgeous setting and surroundings, very conducive to providing the perfect setting for a working conference and corporate retreat. To that end, I have booked our May 2020 conference with them, which we will all be looking forward to. "

" I recently had the opportunity to enjoy this fabulous resort on Mt Tamborine. Going away with your kids and their friends can be quite a challenge but this is family heaven. The activities especially the ropes course, rock hopping, and thunderegg mining are just great and kept everyone active all day. We stayed in one of the creek lodges and found them again ideal for the family. Located right on the creek with wood fire, spa bath, and very comfortable beds. There is a kitchen with everything you need - we ate mainly at the Rainforest Restaurant as the prices were very reasonable and the quality of the food was excellent. Our kids and their friends are already asking when they can go back although they are thinking of minigolf and camping - they might but you will trouble to get the parents out of the lodges. "
