"Great Lodge for Bridal Parties" - May 2021
The Mill Lodge was big enough for all the wedding party to get ready in, and the backdrop of the stream and forest was beautiful for pre wedding photos. We had visitors in and out all morning and it never felt over crowded. At one point I counted over 20 people and no one was trippin over each other. Great Lodge for Bridal Parties.

Hi Monica, Thank you for everything you did to ensure we had the most perfect wedding day possible. The dedication and professionalism you showed throughout the entire planning process was unbelievable. I have been so lucky to have dealt with so many fantastic providers, Cedar Creek Lodges being one of them. We received so many compliments on the day/night. The staff were all fantastic, the food was delicious and the ceremony and reception breathtakingly beautiful. Nothing was ever a problem, even when I left two people off the seating plan, you fixed it in a heartbeat. I cannot recommend your services and Cedar Creek highly enough, and I hope your boss knows just how lucky they are to have you as their wedding coordinator. We will certainly make a point of coming back on our anniversary, and try to get the same room! Again, thank you from the bottom out our hearts.

Hi Monica, I just wanted to send a quick email to say how fantastic you and your team are. Our wedding was absolutely breathtaking. The effort that was put in by everyone at Cedar Creek was outstanding everyone there made the atmosphere relaxed and fun. I have had nothing but compliments from all my guests on how great everything looked, on how delicious the food was, including the canapes before the reception and how friendly and delightful the staff was. I still have family tell me how much fun they had and that was almost 3 weeks ago. I really appreciate the hard work in everything you guys did including all the little things like putting up the lanterns and helping out the vendors to get the best for the wedding. I don't believe I would get anything like this anywhere else so thank you and everyone at Cedar Creek you really are the best.

Good afternoon Monica, We wanted to send you a quick email to thank you before we head for home for all your help and assistance with our wedding last week.
We know we have been demanding over email while planning abroad, but all our expectations were exceeded by you and the staff at Cedar Creek. Both on Wednesday night and Thursday no member of staff we encountered could do enough for us, the food was astounding and the venue looked great. We would particularly like to thank one of your bar team, who's name I think was Cas, although I might have that wrong! She was working on Wednesday night and seemed to be in charge of the bar on Thursday night and was so, SO helpful, even at the end of the night when some of our more hardcore guests really didn't want the party to be over! :-) Thank you for everything you and the team did to ensure our wedding day went smoothly and was a very, very happy celebration for us and our guests. Everyone, guests from near and very far, commented on the staff, the food and the venue.
Thank you again, we will be sure to call in again next time we are in Australia.

Hi Monica, I wanted to thank you and everyone there for an absolutely magical day. Our wedding was everything we imagined and more. The venue looked beautiful and our guests were amazed at the vision that greeted them, it was truly spectacular.
From yourself, in the months leading up to our wedding, to every single staff member on the night itself, we were impressed with the helpfulness and pleasantness of every person we encountered. The food was outstanding and the staff knew what was being served for those guests with dietary restrictions. Please thank them for this as it was truly impressive! The chef also deserves our thanks for a beautiful meal. The girls working on the night were lovely. Your team obviously enjoy what they do, and in turn made it a thoroughly happy and enjoyable occasion for us.
Thanks also to Veronica Jo flowers for her spectacular arrangements, and also to Sheree from Bluebird Bridal for the beautiful cake. It made a beautiful desert !
The staff who arranged the surprise for us on our return to the cabin need a mention. We left it looking like a bomb had gone off, as the girls had got ready in there. We returned to it totally tidy and decorated throughout with tea lights, chocolate cover strawberries, and champagne. Beautiful.
And last but certainly not least Monica, we have to thank you for bringing it all together. You thought of absolutely everything and especially on the day you were there to make sure it all went to plan... quietly and expertly directing proceedings in the background.... so that every single one of our guests and ourselves had the most magical experience. It went beautifully and the feedback from our guests was that it was one of the most beautiful and happy weddings they had attended, at a most stunning venue. We thank you for that and our plan is to come back with our family every year on our anniversary.

You were professional and knowledgeable and made us feel like our special day was something truly special, not just another day at work for you (Especially considering the busy week you had!)
Thank you to all the staff at Cedar Creek Lodges/Thunderbird Park for being so kind and thoughtful. We got to know quite a few of the waitresses on the Friday night when we had a big family dinner and they all shared their excitement of working the next night at our wedding. We remembered all the faces and it was nice to share our enjoyment with everyone.
Our wedding day went off without a hitch (that we were aware of) and our guests all commented on the beautiful venue and the excellent and mindful staff. The food was spectacular, the bar was popular and the service of every person there was impeccable.
We absolutely cannot thank you enough. We picked Cedar Creek Lodges for being such a beautiful location. We didn't realise we had also picked a venue with the most dedicated and lovely staff.

Dear Monica, Dan and I just want to say a massive thank you! to you and all the Staff. Our wedding was more than we could have ever imagined. I remember walking down the isle looking over to the reception venue and was blown away. Everything was so beautiful, the tables and centre pieces were perfect, the candy buffet and fondue fountain was amazing and everyone loved it so much …. including myself . The staff who were serving food and drinks were so professional and very friendly deff 5 star service, Our food was superb so a huge thank you to the chefs also.
Also I wanted to say thank you to the chefs and waitresses who served all of us dinner at the restaurant the night before. The service was out standing and the food was amazing.

Hi Monica, Hope you are well. No doubt gearing up for a busy wedding season! We absolutely had the best wedding possible. You in particular made everything work exceptionally well and all the staff were lovely and we really can't thank you all enough.
The light rain in a beautiful rainforest only added to the day especially learning how it had not rained for months! We felt blessed and happy to have beautiful rain soaked lush green foliage all around us!!
We definitely will send some photos on to you as we get them. Steve is the best photographer I have ever met. Also Suellen and Candice from Bayley Allure I cannot recommend enough - they are fun, fantastic and really good at hair and makeup!!!
We will definitely come back soon and partake in some more activities - I love horse riding so we will come and have some fun soon.
Monica you went above and beyond to ensure our day was wonderful for us thank you very much for all your efforts.

"What a gorgeous setting it was" - April 2014
Hi Monica and Kate, now that Kayla and I have had some time off and are back at work and things have settled after our wonderful day, I just wanted to thank you both very very much for the most amazing event let alone wedding that we have both ever been to (of course we are a bit biased but hey, we are allowed to be). The venue looked absolutely stunning, the guests kept commenting on how wonderful it all looked and what a gorgeous setting it was. The staff on the night (including you Monica ;) ) were wonderful and extremely helpful. I have had a lot of guests come to me and say that it was one of the best weddings they have ever been to (including their own haha). So again I just want to express our heartfelt thanks and gratitude for everything that you have done to make our day so special. All the best and we will be returning to Cedar Creek as campers for a long time into the future. Thanks very much!

Hello Monica, we had the best day, best night, best couple of days really! Sorry it's taken so long to get back to you but we have just finally settled back in home again. Mick and I would both like to thank you very much for all of your help. From the first conversation I had with you regarding available dates down to every fine detail to do with the reception you were more than helpful and so incredibly patient with us. You went above and beyond for us with many things and that truly meant a lot to us. There is not a thing we would change about our day and we couldn't have asked it to go any better! We rarely have good luck like this so we were pretty impressed :) Everyone was also very pleased with the accommodation! The creek lodges are so perfect. It was absolute bliss getting ready in such a beautiful and relaxing place. We will definitely be back and a few guests have said they'll even be back to do all of the touristy things as the few days we were there just wasn't enough. So thanks again Monica, you do a great job and it's many thanks to you that our day was as perfect as it was.

Hello Monica! Ross and I wanted to send you our sincere THANK YOU for your wonderful effort last weekend and leading up to it. We had a marvellous wedding and all our guests have raved how it was THE BEST wedding they have ever been to. I thank you dearly for this. You were awesome in calming my anxieties and sorting out any problems that arose to ensure it all ran smoothly. I must say though, you were brilliant Monica, and I was more than happy with your calming prescence on the day and also the day before. The room on Saturday night was MAGICAL. Ross and I were so happy coming back after a brilliant reception to the romantic setting. The strawberries, champagne, fire, spa, and candles were magical. We had a wonderful memorable night. The DJ was brilliant! Clearly the best I have ever had anywhere and of course played some awesome music :-) I was really impressed with his professionalism and again, anxious whether he would play the right songs at the right time, and of course, he was perfect :-D Everyone young and old were up dancing all night, and I think the venue as well as the music had ALOT to do with this. What a beautiful setting the Island Glade is... I will certainly be recommending you to others, and several guests who have been engaged for a few years have commented the romantic fun evening has encouraged them to consider booking their wedding and absolutely love the venue! I really do hope I will be back for a wedding at Cedar Creek soon as EVERYONE has told me that had a wonderful weekend. Please pass on my thanks to the rest of the staff. Thank you so much for the time and energy you put in to making sure our wedding looked lovely and ran as smoothly as possible on Friday 12th April. Everybody thoroughly enjoyed the night. Michael and I were extremely happy with the conduct of your friend;y and professional staff members. Guests commented on how lovely the meals were and everybody was impressed with the gorgeous lolly buffet. I was also wondering if you could pass on a special 'thank you' to Wendy, the masseuse who came back late the night before my wedding to give me a very relaxing and theraputic massage. With the chaos leading up to our wedding, this definitley calmed me down and put me in a much more relaxed frame of mind. We'd happily reccommend Cedar Cree Lodges to others for their special celebrations. Thank you once again.

Just a thank you to all the staff who helped with our wedding on Dec 1st 2012. Special thanks to the very patient Monica who was... well just Monica! Fantastic. The whole day went better than we ever expected, and all the guests commented on the beautiful location. And how easy they found the venue to enjoy. With Grandpa Bob Seibels birthday the day before the wedding, the wedding itself, and looking after all the staying guests the morning after. It was absolutely first class service, with absolutely no hiccups. Thanks so much to everyone!

Cedar Creek have a wonderful wedding co-ordinator and should be proud of having you work for them. The venue was perfect, the day was wonderful and you played a big part in that. "Wonderful wedding & stress free" – 2011
My partner and I chose to have our wedding at Cedar Creek and could not have dreamed of a more perfect day/weekend. Majority of our wedding guests, family and friends, stayed at Cedar Creek Lodges the whole weekend with us and have all raved about the weekend saying it was the best! The staff were more than helpful and were willing to attend and help out in any way possible to accommodate us with any requests or needs. The wedding coordinator is warm and lovely to deal with and listened to what my partner and I wanted and made sure our day was nothing but perfect! The food was amazing and every guest raved about it!! A stress free, relaxing, exciting adventure for everyone (all ages) and we will definitely return and would highly recommend this spot for a wedding. Majority of our guests (80 people) say it is the most beautiful and well organised wedding they have ever been too! The rooms cater for all price ranges and ages - families, couples, groups! Some of the rooms need refurbishing, but nothing major. The buffet brekky included was delicious and included everything you could imagine! Once again, my partner and I (family & friends) would like to thank all the team at Cedar Creek Lodges for everything they did for us :)
"We can't wipe the smiles off our faces" - 2011
My husband and I were married at Thunderbird Park on Sunday morning 10/10/10 in the absolutely sensational Amphitheatre within the grounds. We arrived on the Friday evening and departed Monday morning, and had a whole bunch of our family and friends staying as well at various times over the weekend.Our first point of contact was the wonderful Vonda. I cannot say enough fantastic things about Vonda that will truly convey how grateful Duncan & I are for every time she went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, pleasurable and relaxing! From the first point of contact on the phone Friday afternoon to our farewells on Monday morning, Vonda was ever friendly, helpful and warm. She's such a treasure and our whole family now feels like we've known her for ages. Simone the wedding coordinator was absolutely amazing too – helping us to plan our wedding down to the last detail. I'm not one of those brides who wanted bows on every chair and the red carpet rolled out, but Simone made awesome suggestions and gave Duncan and I the freedom to choose as we pleased. She's got an amazing way with people, especially stressed/excited people and as a Bride about to walk down the isle, seeing Simone's calm smiling face helped ease my jitters away. Scott the restaurant and events manager is awesome – and his expertise running the function ensured our guests were never hungry or thirsty, our tables cleared quickly, the food was AMAZING and every last thing we asked for almost magically appeared! He's so approachable and friendly, and the thing that struck us all was how cohesive his team work together not just to get the job done, but to exceed expectations by a country mile. The feedback we have received from family and friends is our wedding (and the entire weekend) was the wedding of the century, that they have not had such an amazing time at a wedding – EVER! And we simply can't wipe the smiles of our faces. Thanks Thunderbird Park!
